Meet the Trainer: Charissa Lenis

Charissa was born and raised in Palm Harbor, Fl where she began her career with horses at the young age of six. At the age of eight, she received her first horse and her passion continued to grow. Since a young age, Charissa has competed and received top placings on the Hunter Jumper circuit, such as circuit awards from Central Florida Hunter Jumper Association, Wellington Equestrian Festival, Tryon International Equestrian Center, and more.

Although riding was always a passion, Charissa began to study psychology as a foundation for teaching students and offering therapeutic services to kids of special needs. With a Masters Degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern University, , Charissa stresses the importance between the horse and rider relationship using language techniques that instill confidence, while reducing anxiety.

Our goal is to nurture a deep connection between horse and rider, fostering growth and empowerment in every individual who walks through our gates.
